WELCOME TO THE WESTOVER FAMCAMP
All across America Air Force Services activities operate special on-base camping facilities.  These facilities range from simple overnight parking accommodations to full-service camp grounds such as the Westover park. Westover Air Reserve Base is located in the heart of the Berkshires, the northeast’s summer and winter playground. Westover provides visitors an ideal jumping off spot for all that New England offers. The Springfield area also boasts quaint restaurants, family attractions and great shopping. The Camp Office has information on many area destinations, including several with special Westover pricing.
No matter what type of outdoor setup you have, tent, trailer, camper, big rig, or motor home, we are set up to accommodate you. Our wooded camp ground has 20 full hook-up, concrete sites with water, 20/30/50 amp electric availability, 15 tent sites, and a large rustic overflow area. All sites have picnic tables and Bar-B-Que pits
The camp area has a bath house, which includes showers, restrooms and a coin laundry.  For your convenience, a small store is located in the camp office.
Stays at the camp are limited to two-weeks maximum; thereafter, campers may request a two-week extension based upon space availability.
Check-in during normal business hours is at the FAMCAMP office.  Late arrivals may check in at the Flyer’s Inn, Lodging Office, front desk, Building 2201.

While staying with us, please enjoy our facility and the other recreational activities in the area. FAMCAMP is within walking distance of the Patriot Nature Trail, base Picnic Pavilion, Westover Consolidated Club, our 12 lane Bowling Center, Base Exchange, Shoppette and other key activities on base.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Reservations
FAMCAMP is open to eligible campers on a first come first served basis. We do not accept advance reservations.
Speed Limit is 5 mph in the camping area.

Registration
All personnel using the camping area must register at the camp office during normal hours of operation. Late arrivals and those seeking Space Availability accommodations after normal duty hours must go to the Lodging office to check in. All late arrivals must register the next morning by 9 a.m. at the camp office.

Limit of Stay
FAMCAMP stays are limited to 14 days for one vehicle, unless authorized by the camp office. Checkout time is 1100 hours. See staff for information on additional parking areas on the campground.

Camping Rules
- Absolutely no discharge of sewage or gray matter on the ground, pavement or in the storm drains is permitted.

-Based on representative sampling accomplished throughout the FAMCAMP, and with the hose flush running at approximately 1gpm, it is recommended that campers run their water for 1 minute to ensure adequate chlorine levels.

- Washing of RVs, Motor homes or vehicles is PROHIBITED.

- Patrons are responsible for cleanliness of their site. All trash must be placed in trash cans/dumpster provided.

- Please recycle paper, cardboard, cans and glass in the recycle can which is located next to the dumpster.

- Quiet hours are observed from 2200-0700 hours daily.

 - Parking on campsite roadways is prohibited.  Additional parking is available at the campground.

- BBQ grills may be placed anywhere on the site. Ashes from the grill may not be dumped on the ground. Please dump grill ashes in the fire ring (at the campsite).

- Fires must be monitored at all times.  Do not put cans or glass in the fire.

- Cutting or trimming of trees or brush on the campground is prohibited.

- Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.  Patrons are responsible for cleaning up after their pet(s).

- Illegal use of drugs, alcohol, fireworks or noise producing devices are not permitted on the campground.

- Fire arms and hunting equipment are not allowed on base.

- Westover ARB is not responsible for any vehicle or equipment left unattended on the campground.

- All waste water materials will be dumped at the dump station. Violators will be expelled from the campground without a refund.

- There is no smoking in any building.

Use of the camp Dump Station is reserved for registered campers.  Units not registered in the FAMCAMP may dump by paying a $15.00 dump fee.


All Day Guests must depart by 2200 hours the same day.

Patrons desiring to stay longer than the 14 day stay limit must contact the FAMCAMP Office at least 3 days prior to the departure date.
